MVH INTERVIEW With Michael Star, She Was “Attracted To Me But Didn’t Know How To Relate Her Feelings”

We are quite sure there are billions of artists out there doing there thing but only a few put God first, We have got a young and up going talent, Michael Theo Johnson a.k.a Michael Star Who has decided to keep his fit firm in the world of music.

He is a dancer, actor and a singer in totality he has put this three special talent into is recently released music video extended version of this song titled XOXO,  And If you have ever wondered what he really means about that four-letter word then he made it orally, visually answered in this video.

“Michael is thrust into a world of dance where evil tries to draw him in. Luckily the ballerina watches over him and he is drawn to her. Was it all just a dream?” maybe yes.

Where are you from?
I’m from Queens, New York

How long have you been making music?
Since the age of 11yrs old.

How many songs /albums have you released to date?
I’ve actually officially released 2 songs to date.

Can you tell us about your latest release and the background/inspirations behind it?
My latest release is called XOXO, and what inspired me most to write this song was actually a personal experience I had with a female, who was attracted to me but didn’t know how to relate her feelings.

How have/did you ended up in the music industry?
I actually was introduced to music by my mom and dad at the age of 2yrs. My dad is a musician and my mom was always playing different genres of music around me. As I got older, I became more intrigued by singing and performing for people.

What do you think of the music industry in 2016?
I think it’s gonna be phenomenal because there are so many diverse and interesting up and coming talent as myself.

Who do you think is the most influential artist?
To me The King Of Pop…Michael Jackson

Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?
No one as yet, looking forward in the future to collaborate with Chris Brown…hopefully.

How do you think you differ from other artists?
I think my style, sound and how I execute my dance moves separately from most artists.

Who Will you love to have a collaboration with?
As I stated previously, Chris Brown also Neyo, Usher, and my Dad.

What was the first album you bought as an artist?
The first album I bought was Michael Jackson,s Thriller.

What’s your favorite song at the moment?
I have so many, the one I enjoy the most is Rihanna’s “Work” featuring Drake. That’s a hot song!

If you had to sell your music collection tomorrow, what album/track would you leave in your draw?
I love all my songs, would be difficult for me to sell them, but I imagine leaving “XOXO”, it’s the one closest to my heart.

What is your favorite saying?
“Always Put God First”

What other hobbies or interests do you have?
Believe it or not, I love to draw, I have a collection of artwork I’ve done. Drawing relaxes me.

Do you have any tattoos or piercings?
I sure do, I have both tattoos and piercings.

Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?
Currently, I’m working on releasing my next single, music video to follow. Also, my management is in the process of putting together a European Tour for me to promote my single XOXO.

What’s in the pipeline after this project?
There’s a lot in store for me, more hits, tours, my team is definitely working hard to make Michaelstar a household name.
