With a mysterious persona Iron Wind keeps his identity hidden by wearing a Samurai mempo mask in order to strike fear in his opponent the same way Samurai Warriors would have done on the battlefield centuries ago until he steps on stage to deliver a cut throat performance unlike any otherrnrnIron wind\'s introduction to modern hip-hop culture has been a long time in the making. Since taking the scene by storm in 2002 under the name Scratch Cat, he has been known to spread his unmistakable ‘Razor Sharp’ sounds and styles in performances in Canada and the U.S, swarming the audience with a relentless assault of cut throat rhymes, hardcore production, breathless beat boxing, unbelievable sound effects, character impersonations, and soulful harmonies to deliver a show like no other. rnrnAfter sharpening his swords in preparation to reach a higher level, Iron Wind has finally gathered his forces and assembled and arsenal of songs in order to leave his mark as a force to be reckoned with in hip-hop. rnrnIron Wind started off by releasing two EP albums titled Bloodwind & Storm of The Century. Iron Wind also features on various Wu Tang Mix tapes such as:rnDJ Espees We Got Next, Spirit of the Sword by DJWiz, 1 Luv (That Summer Feeling) by DJ Wiz, Sick Of being Overlooked by DJ Wiz and Protect ya necks The Ambush Vol. 1, are just a taste of Iron Wind\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s vast potential but the depth and breadth of his talent was unsheathed on his debut album ‘The Warrior Inside’ released in 2016. Not to mention being published in a book called the Wu Tang Movement featuring biographies of all Wu affiliates. By combining that Wu-Tang influenced sound with dope beats and lyrics inspired by Japanese culture this album promises to leave listeners craving for more. rnrnFor the past five years Iron Wind has put away the mask to collaborate with Toronto artist District Prime under the group name Primal Winds releasing 5 albums. Iron Wind now returns with a new team of players as a solo artist, bringing back his relentless assault of beats & rhymes and has dawned the Samurai mask once again rebranding himself as an artist/producer under My City Records (MCR). rnrnIron Wind is currently working on his 4th solo album and 1st project under the My City Records label as well as production on many of the upcoming albums from his new label mates.rnrnIron Wind is poised to remain ‘Razor Sharp’ with his lyrics and production and promises to continue taking the hip-hop world by storm.
