‘You Do Well’ is very special to me because it summarizes the story of my life. As a teenager, I was very messed up. Many of my friends with whom I did some pretty bad things are either dead or in jail as we speak. To be where I am today and be in a place where I can be a blessing to people is simply attributed to the mercy of God and the gift of salvation. This song came from a place of deep reflection and realization that I am here today only by the mercies of God.
