MIIST Releases “REMEMBER ME AGAIN”
With storytelling at the centre of her music and vocally talented in multiple genres, newcomer singer/songwriter Miist has captured the attention of many in the Music Industry. The prolific Miist has written 45 songs, including eight with a co-writer.
Only a year into her career, this 33-year-old mother and wife has already been called a musical “light and inspiration to the world” with “beautiful writing” and “hot vocals” by Narada Michael Walden. Known as ‘Narada,’ he is not only producing Miist’s upcoming ‘The Songs from the Living Room’ Album but has also actively co-written with her.
Narada comes with a pedigree that includes being named one of Billboard Magazine’s Top 10 All-Time Producers in 2023 and is a Grammy & Emmy Winning Producer, Musician, and Recording Artist.
The abundance of her songwriting paired with Narada’s trademark foot-thumping rhythms—found in his 57 #1 Hits—make a potent mix pushing Miist’s songs through the radio waves and beyond on the world’s streaming platforms.
Miist writes and performs her songs and Music Videos in English and Mandarin to add to her international appeal. Narada has expressed that Miist is one of the rarest gems in the industry, a singer and songwriter who is a beautiful soul who lights up the world around her. How do you best describe her music? Miist has performed at the Chan Centre in Vancouver, BC, and is the subject of upcoming features in two luxury publications: Haute Living (San Francisco) and Folio.YVR Luxury Lifestyle Magazine (Vancouver).
At the close of 2023, Miist released two new singles: ‘She’ and ‘Give Her My Love,’ three new music videos, bringing her video roster to five (YouTube). In early 2024, Ephemeral Music will release of four additional singles produced by Narada Michael Walden.

“This is probably the most unique song I have written so far. My producer – Narada Michael Walden – who is a Grammy Award winner and Billboard Music Top 10 All Time Music Producer (Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin), sent me a beat track which had some amazing rhythms and instruments on it. I’ve always loved Sting’s song Desert Rose, and as I listened to the track the lyrics “Remember Me Again” started dancing through the melody in my head. I saw a picture of myself wearing a flowing dress, whispering into the wind while standing on a sand dune, as my words drifted back through time to a person I knew long ago. I never want to be forgotten by the one I can never forget, and that is what this song is about.”
